I am too insecure to buy something this expensive without thinking about it for a long time and continuing to ask about it.
As much as I would like a mac, I think it just makes sense for me to get a pc. Sorry duders who love macs. It's just how I'm feeling, and I try to go with my gut.

Let's say I am willing to put, at max, including taxes/shipping/warranty/whatever $1000 into this thing. Let's also say that if I am going to be putting that much money into a frickin' item I want to be sure that there is good customer service and a good warranty to boot.
I can deal with whatever stupid operating system it comes with. They all annoy me equally. I should probably move up into the modern ages; I still run windows 2000 on my desktop.

I would like to, shall we say, phase out my desktop. It's big. It's old. It makes funny noises when it starts up despite being a serviceable machine.

I know this is soooo much to ask and I knoooooow this is the third time I've asked. Let me put this in bold print, really big:
